STEP UP (2018), my first album, focussed on instrumental composition with lyrics on one tune Cozy Sizzle. It rekindled my earliest efforts at composing starting with Vancouver and Song of Joy.

JUST ONE MOMENT (2020) expanded the range of my musical expression to include instrumental, vocal, and spoken word jazz tunes. Dark Fragments and Stars Over West 7th reflect my first experiments with word jazz. Four new tunes are vocal, three instrumental, with a closing duo piano piece.

CANADIAN HORIZONS (2021) is a digital album of original compositions by Roland Bourgeois, Miles Black and David Rehorick. Roland is featured on flugelhorn and muted trumpet on all tunes, honouring his courage to overcome medical challenges and keep performing. Other instruments played by Miles, and I was album producer.

LIVE AT THE SILK PURSE (2022) was recorded in performance at the Silk Purse Art Centre, West Vancouver, on July 16. The unique and intimate atmosphere of the Silk Purse along with the splendid ocean view brought musicians and audience into joyful interaction. I speak about the source and origin of my twelve original tunes, thus taking listeners on a narrative compositional journey.
